Nicole is an experienced executive, with over 20 years working in law, government and consulting including 15 years of board experience on government, corporate and not for profit boards. Her background in infrastructure, economic development, environmental management and community engagement provides her with a unique insight into the complexity of planning and delivering large economic and infrastructure projects in an environment of ever-changing social expectations. Chairing Infrastructure Net Zero, Infrastructure WA, Deputy Chair of the Green Building Council of Australia and a board member of the Net Zero Economy Agency, Nicole is actively engaged in the driving collaboration to enable a just transition to net zero for all Australians. With an extensive network in government and industry she is a transition broker focused on embracing the challenges and opportunities of climate change and digital disruption.

As the Sustainable Finance Manager at NABERS, Matilde recognises the critical need for substantial financial investments to drive sustainability outcomes. Her role at NABERS is focused on working with finance institutions and various sectors across industry to unlock sustainable finance opportunities through NABERS ratings. With a diverse professional background, a degree in Applied Science (Interior Architecture), and a strong interest in the intersection between sustainability and design practices, Matilde joined the NABERS team in 2021 and is committed to combatting climate change at every opportunity.

Camila works proactively to ensure the project's successful completion with performance levels well above the set targets. Camila has extensive experience in the fields of Sustainable Design, Green Star, LCA and Energy Performance Assessment. Camila is a Green Star Accredited Professional.

4:15pm Case study: Striving for world leadership in infrastructure projects

As the Senior Manager - Green Star Operations Transformation, Elham leads a team that manage the Green Star certification process and provide technical services to project teams. Elham led the development of the Green Star Homes Standard and managed the delivery of the Green Star Buildings rating tool. Elham has over 15 years' experience in applying sustainability in the built environment in a range of sectors from working in government, the private sector and internationally.

Jeff is responsible for ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement across the GBCA's broad member base of members across the country. This includes raising awareness of GBCA activities and working with members to engage most effectively in this. He also sits on the World Green Building Council's Asia Pacific Network Advisory Board.

9:15am Panel: Harnessing sustainable finance to optimise project outcomes

As a Senior Design Manager at Built, Greg focuses on the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and Design and Construct (D&C) space. Prior to working with a head contractor, he was also a practicing architect for approximately 8 years. His role encompasses the establishment of project scopes, the procurement and management of consultant teams, building design coordination, value engineering, risk management and stakeholder management. He has also had extensive experience in the design and procurement of film studios, premium grade office buildings, Green Star as-built projects, commercial fit-outs, CLT and steel structures, aged care facilities, student accommodation, retail etc.
