Developed in consultation with industry, consumers, builders, banks, investors and insurers, our draft standard outlines the requirements a new home will have to meet to achieve Green Star certification.
Consultation has now closed. The final standard will be released in 2021.

About Green Star Homes
The Green Star Homes standard will be used to assess Australian homes against three key criteria which we think are important for homes of our future:
- Positive: net zero in energy, fully electric, draught sealed, efficient and powered by renewables
- Healthy: ventilated, comfortable, with products that are better for you
- Resilient: water efficient and climate change ready.
We are excited to have Stockland, Mirvac, Metricon, Rawson Homes, Chatham Homes, Australian Passive House Association, Landcom, Development Victoria, Lendlease and Ingenia Communities confirmed as Early Access Partners to pilot the new draft Standard.
