Your new opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating the Green Star certification process by supporting external project teams and Certified Assessors. Throughout the certification process, you will also ensure our stakeholders receive a positive customer experience, therefore an ability to communicate and interact effectively in a timely manner with a range of stakeholders is a must!
This opportunity will also see you provide support in coordinating, reviewing, and developing technical materials relevant to rating tools and related activities.
This is a full-time role based in our Sydney headquarters.

Your new responsibilities

  • Answering project team’s questions around technical aspects and certification process;
  • Reviewing assessment comments and liaising with Certified Assessors to finalise assessment comments;
  • Maintaining records within project databases;
  • Assisting in the review and upkeep of Green Star rating tool scorecards, calculators and technical content for credits
  • Contribute to complying with ISO 9001 requirements, by assisting in developing, maintaining and improving products and services.

Your skills and experience

  • A tertiary degree (recent graduates will be considered), in: 
    • Engineering in a built environment-related discipline
    • Building services design and/or construction
    • Urban planning - design and/or construction
    • Sustainability or environmental science
  • One to two years administrative experience in an office environment (desired but not essential);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines;
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills;
  • Able to adapt in a fast paced and changing environment.
