Building a National Biodiversity Market

We support the Australian Government’s plans to establish a biodiversity market to promote investment in and drive better outcomes for biodiversity across the country. We have provided input to the consultation calling for the development of credible and robust criteria and mechanisms that will ensure meaningful and verifiable improvements to Australia’s biodiversity.

Infrastructure that delivers more sustainable cities and communities

GBCA is committed to working with all levels of government to ensure more sustainable infrastructure for better cities and communities. Our team has recently been involved in providing input to the independent review of Infrastructure Australia and Infrastructure WA’s construction market capacity consultation.

National Construction Code (NCC) 2022

Following the adoption of improved energy performance standards for new homes in NCC 2022, GBCA is continuing to work with our industry partners to advocate for a coordinated and timely approach to implementation of the new requirements across all Australian jurisdictions.
We are now sharpening our focus on consultation for NCC 2025 to ensure the positive momentum towards zero carbon buildings continues.
