In case you haven’t already heard, our New Generation rating tools are the new kids on the block and they’re ready to shake the industry up! With so many benefits for New Generation rating tools, as attested by our members, why wouldn’t you want to sign up?
In order to move the industry forward, projects will no longer be able to register under any Legacy rating tool from 31 December, 2015. Please note, all existing Legacy projects will be supported through to certification.
Green Star – Interiors v1.1 was released this month and contains updated guidance for some credits, improvements to credit requirements for others and general clarification and corrections throughout the rating tool. View the change log within the Submission Guidelines to see what has changed.
Registrations under Green Star – Interiors v1 close at the end of this year. From 1 January 2016, all new projects registered under Green Star – Interiors will be required to use version 1.1.
We want the best possible outcome for your project. So if you are already registered under version 1 you now have 2 options:
Generally, there will be an update to the rating tool once per year. Every 3 years, with the help of industry, we will conduct a complete review of the rating tool to ensure it remains relevant and useful.
