The Albanese government’s first budget, released 25 October 2022, has signalled a strengthened focus on climate change mitigation and adaptation. A range of measures to support energy-efficient housing, renewables and clean energy skills will help Australia’s property and construction industry to move faster and further towards Australia’s net zero targets.
