Reducing embodied emissions in NSW infrastructure

On 21 February, GBCA hosted The Hon. Rob Stokes, NSW Minister for Infrastructure, Minister for Cities and Minister for Active Transport at our Barangaroo head office as he released the Decarbonising Infrastructure Delivery Roadmap for industry comment. Minister Stokes also announced that the NSW Government Environment Protection Authority and Infrastructure NSW are developing a Protection of Environment Policy (PEP).

Sustainable Building Design in Melbourne

The Melbourne Planning Scheme Amendment C376: Sustainable Building Design is now on public exhibition until 17 April 2023. The amendment proposes changes to the planning rules to ensure future development achieves best practice in sustainability, energy efficiency and greening.
