Last week the Australian Government released its Net Zero in Government Operations Strategy which details how it will fulfil its commitment to achieve a net zero APS by 2030. Requirements for Green Star, NABERS and electrification will be part of the approach to drive down emissions in buildings.

It is the first legislation passed in Australia that explicitly mentions the right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment.
