Trudy-Ann King steps down from GBCA

03 Mar 2017

After eight years with the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA), Trudy-Ann King has stepped down as Head of Market Engagement in search of new opportunities.

According to the GBCA’s Chief Executive Officer Romilly Madew, Ms King has made a tremendous contribution to the GBCA.

“Trudy-Ann started with the GBCA in 2008 as the Victorian State Manager. We soon identified her potential and she stepped into the role of Regional Development Manager for the Asia Pacific. During that time, she played a crucial role in helping establish new GBCs throughout the region,” Ms Madew says.

“Leading our market engagement activities for more than six years, Trudy-Ann has expanded our reach and influence, and her strategic approach has helped us to capture new markets.

“While Trudy-Ann’s departure will leave a gap, it also provides us with fresh opportunities to consider our organisation’s structure.

“With a background in the commercial world, I am excited to explore new challenges,” Ms King says.

Ms King will continue to work with the GBCA for the next six weeks as she wraps up projects and provides a handover. An announcement regarding a replacement will be made in due course.
