We are excited to announce the Early access program partners for Green Star Performance.
Green Star Performance aims to meet current and future demands on the built environment with aspirational benchmarks for operational performance and portfolio management. It also provides a pathway for building owners to address carbon emissions over time.

GBCA is currently working on the next generation of Green Star Performance, due for release in mid-2022. It will be the biggest overhaul of the operational rating system since its introduction in 2013.
We invite you to provide feedback on the detail of the Green Star Performance credits.
Credits will be released in four category batches between November 2021 and June 2022. The credits have been developed in consultation with our Expert Reference Panels and will be available for download as a PDF and will contain a link to provide feedback via a form. Credits will be open for consultation for two weeks, and a week after the credits have been released, a briefing webinar on the credits will be held. Feedback can be provided on all credits or just specific categories and credits of interest to you.

We have released a Green Star Performance discussion paper that addresses emissions occurring from existing buildings as part of the GBCA’s strategy to de-carbonise the built environment. This paper is available to download from our Carbon & Climate Change page along with a feedback submission form.
