Our flagship event for sustainability in the built environment is back for 2021 and while the events of this year saw us bring TRANSFORM online, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Australia with the hope to add state-based, face-to-face events linked to our online program.
The show will go on with a line-up of our industry’s top local and international speakers, and a healthy amount of thought-provoking content too. You’ll leave inspired to drive the sustainable transformation of the built environment and we’ll once again ensure you can engage and collaborate through new and improved networking opportunities to help you explore and share ideas.
TRANSFORM 2021 opens with a two-day virtual conference and we’re delighted to share a taste of what you can expect. First up you’ll hear from Nigel Topping, the UK's High-Level Climate Action Champion and Atlassian’s Bronwyn Zorgdrager (Project Director - Real Estate & Projects), who will talk us through the software developer’s new HQ and how it will use our recently launched Green Star Buildings rating tool.
On day two TRANSFORM 2021 heads to Europe to hear from Miquel Rodrigues Planas, Commissioner – Barcelona 2030, then you can take in some Scandi inspiration for sustainable cities with Maja Østergaard Project Manager, State of Green. In the afternoon the time will come for us to examine critical topics up close with the launch of our breakout sessions.
This year’s breakout sessions will run over two weeks with the option to watch and interact on a live platform, or to view the sessions on demand at your own pace. You’ll find in depth discussions on upfront carbon, the circular economy, health and wellbeing, responsible supply chains and how we can make the move to all-electric buildings.
Your digital pass to TRANSFORM 2021 includes all this plus tailored networking opportunities, 20 roundtables covering thought provoking topics in small groups, and a virtual exhibition showcasing leading technology and services.
We currently have a small number of member tickets available for $699, this limited release is available until December 18 or until the first 100 tickets have been sold. Discounted pricing is also available during this time for Future Green Leaders and non-members.
In 2020 our attendees were left inspired by our industry’s thought leaders and engaged by the opportunities to discuss and learn. Here’s what some of them had to say about TRANSFORM Online 2020:
“I was so engaged by this content... the format was great, the technology worked brilliantly, there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions and have them answered.” Chris Nunn, Head of Sustainability, AMP Capital
“It was absolutely brilliant and really set the bar high for hosting digital conferences – congratulations!” Georgina Eldridge, Marketing and Communications Officer, NABERS
“Thanks GBCA! Full credit for keeping the industry collaboration going in the difficult times.” Matt Garnys, Principal Consultant, CETEC
