There has been exponential growth in the interest in sustainable housing, and record sale prices for such homes. But there has also been increased commentary on the lack of suitable sustainable housing. Our Green Star Homes addresses this, and provides a clear roadmap for the better housing Australia deserves.
Green Star Homes was launched in 2021 to set clear actions and targets and help deliver healthy, resilient, energy efficient homes, powered by renewables. Our new online and interactive course is designed for those wanting to understand the tool at a deeper level. By completing the training, you will be positioned to confidently deliver projects under the tool and have greater insights to share with clients and wider industry.
*Please note, capacity is capped so we can deliver a collaborative course with opportunities for discussion throughout.
Course presenters:
Elham Monavari - Senior Manager - Operations Transformation, Green Building Council of Australia
Sean Maxwell - Scheme Manager - ATTMA
Jack Hibbins - Development Professional - Stockland
Join the team behind the tool and bring your questions to them. The course will include group discussion and activities and numbers are limited.
The course follows our launch webinars and will cover in detail the three categories focusing on core outcomes that define what a healthy, resilient and positive home is. Each category contains a number of credits with requirements that must be met to meet the Green Star Homes Standard.
The Green Star Homes standard is created for volume home builders
