The Green Building Council of Australia, in partnership with the Science Based Targets Initiative, would like to invite you to attend our upcoming webinar, “Consultation on SBTI’s guidance for buildings portfolios in the property sector”.
SBTi’s guidance aims to assist entities in the built environment to set near-term, long-term and net-zero decarbonisation pathways that are aligned with a 1.5°C goal. The pathways includes operational and embodied emissions.
This webinar will provide an overview of the draft guidance for setting science-based targets for building portfolios and other companies in the built environment (released May 16) and give the opportunity learn more about the method. It will assist you with providing meaningful feedback as part of SBTI’s consultation process. It will also help you understand how certification schemes such as Green Star and SBTs complement each other in the common goal of decarbonizing the industry.
This webinar will be relevant to property owners, developers, consultants, corporate tenants, and finance entities.
