The GBCA and the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) have agreed to work collaboratively to promote health and well-being in the design, construction and operations of buildings, fitouts and communities in Australia.
IWBI administers the WELL Building Standard™ (WELL), a performance-based system for measuring, certifying and monitoring features of the built environment that impact human health through air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort and mind.
The WELL event directory is where one can explore upcoming opportunities to learn about WELL, engage with the IWBI team, WELL Faculty members, WELL APs and other healthy building experts.
The organisations will now work together to identify opportunities to align the two rating systems, develop events and education offerings, and promote building practices that improve the health and wellbeing of occupants.
The WELL Community Standard pilot builds upon the WELL Building Standard and aims to impact individuals throughout the public spaces where they spend their days.
Over 1,000 projects are enrolled in WELL in more than 40 countries, and Australia is a leading market. Scroll through the WELL Project Directory.
