Project Partner

Through our role of driving change in the industry and setting world leading standards for the built environment, we undertake projects to transform the industry and create meaningful conversation about the complex issues we face.

You have the opportunity to be a part of one or more of these projects, to join the conversation and demonstrate your commitment to the innovation and leadership that has helped drive our industry’s success to date.

Different types of project partners include:

We are seeking organisations to be part of a group of thought leaders that are looking to drive the carbon conversation in Australia. As one of our key areas of focus in our strategic plan, we’ve set an ambitious target: net zero new buildings by 2030 and existing buildings by 2050.

We spend 90% of our time indoors with two thirds of this being at home. Australians deserve to live in a home that is healthy and comfortable and one that also reduces their running costs, while also being able to adapt to a changing climate. We are seeking organisations that want to be seen as leaders in driving change in the residential built environment. You will be contributing to a program of works that aims to transform Australia’s homes.

In 2003, Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) threw down the gauntlet to the property industry with a rating system that set new benchmarks for sustainable building.

The next version of Green Star must be future focused. Green Star Future Focus is the name given to the program that is evolving the Green Star rating system for the next decade.

Becoming a Future Focus Partner is your opportunity to partner with us to reshape Green Star, to demonstrate your commitment to the innovation and leadership that has helped drive our industry’s success to date and to associate your brand with one of the world’s leading rating tools.

Support specific thought leadership papers covering critical issues and challenges.
