Reporting to the Head of Industry Development and Communications, and working closely with the Senior Manager-Communications, you will be responsible for setting and achieving the GBCA’s marketing and brand objectives which align with the organisation’s strategic priorities and revenue targets.

This is a part time, 12 month maternity cover contract, with flexible working arrangements.

Your new responsibilities

  • Setting of marketing objectives aligned to GBCAs strategic priorities and business objectives. 
  • Provide direction to the team and take accountability for the development of the GBCA’s marketing plans and campaigns, to meet business objectives and to maximise influence and effectiveness of all campaigns
  • Leading, inspiring and nurturing/developing a high performing team in a dynamic environment, alongside the Senior Manager – Communications 
  • Shared Accountability for all internal and external marketing activity with the Senior Manager – Communications ensuring performance against KPIs and effective delivery
  • Management and mentoring of 4 direct reports

Your skills and experience 

  • You have a degree/tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or Communications 
  • You have 10+ years’ experience within a commercial organisation leading teams, managing campaigns to deliver results
  • You are a collaborator and seek to involve people in your decisions and processes
  • You take accountability and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • You can balance strategy and campaign work
