The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) was established in 2002 and is the nation’s authority on sustainable buildings and communities. Reporting to the COO, this role will see you leading a small team. You will manage day-to-day finance functions, monitor and provide financial reporting, and oversee the annual audit process. In addition, you will manage office operations and facilities, improving operational business processes and implementing initiatives to enhance efficiency where necessary.
You will cultivate collaborative relationships with business teams and suppliers, and ensure the provision of IT services via our outsourced provider, meet the needs of staff.
Multi-tasking, managing competing priorities and solving problems are a daily occurrence as you provide an exceptional level of service to the business. This is a hands-on role requiring a “can-do” attitude.
This full-time role based in our Sydney office has the potential to be 4 days/week for the right candidate, and offers a degree of hybrid work flexibility. Whilst initially the role is an 18-month contract, there is the potential for the role to become permanent.
