We want your feedback! Construction & Demolition Waste Reporting Criteria

The GBCA has recently released the ‘Construction & Demolition Waste Reporting Criteria’ for industry feedback. The 2016 review is to ensure that the Reporting Criteria continues to drive best practice in the construction and demolition waste industry. The GBCA encourages you to provide your feedback during this review process. For more information on how you can contribute, please visit the Construction & Demolition Waste Reporting Criteria webpage.

Green Star Project Manager features

Viewing Certified projects or completed queries

Certified projects, and completed queries (or request types like Submit documentation for assessment) are automatically hidden in the Green Star Project Manager. Only active projects and queries appear as default.

To view the certified projects or completed queries project teams need to tick “Show Certified/Completed.”

Delete draft projects or requests

Is your Green Star Project Manager cluttered with draft queries you no longer need to submit? You can easily delete these queries by simply clicking on “Delete Request”.

View project or query details

You can find more project details and query details by clicking on “View”. For projects, the details you’ll see include the project name, address, rating tool, nominated contacts, project related files, and many more details. For answered (i.e. completed) queries, you’ll see the query, response and related files.

A new, efficient Green Star registration process on the way

The GBCA will be introducing a new streamlined process for the registration of applications for Green Star certification.
The online contracting process improves the service experience for Green Star applicants and decreases the time needed to fill out these details. We have clarified clauses and processes, particularly, the appointment of Applicant Agents and Change of Ownership process and Limitation of Trustee Liability clause. The Agreement remains substantially the same.

With these initiatives, GBCA hopes to improve processing time for each registration. More details will be released soon.
