Every quarter at the GBCA, we come together to acknowledge the efforts of the incredible individuals that work at our organisation. This time, we'd like to shine the spotlight on Green Star Solutions Technical Manager, Simon Ng.
I’m a bit lost for words actually. I’m really privileged to have a supportive and dedicated group of people around me who share a common goal. They’ve given me the opportunity to get involved with things that I wouldn’t usually come across to make some meaningful change.
Each day is different, but the coffee intake remains the same. A typical day would include the development and maintenance of the rating tools, supporting Green Star projects, chatting with members of the industry.
I love engaging with the broad range of characters in the sustainable built environment. It really is inspiring working closely with a group of people who are on the same journey for a better future.
Besides time? Finessing specialised details into something a wide range of stakeholders can use for market transformation, while linking it to a meaningful sustainable outcome. I’m incredibly privileged to have access to some great thinkers who are both generous with their time and have the same common goal.
