On 6 March, at the Green Cities conference in Sydney, the GBCA launched a new discussion paper, A carbon positive roadmap for the built environment.
The discussion paper sets the scene, outlines potential priorities for the industry and asks for feedback as we work towards Australia’s climate targets, identify clear pathways to carbon neutrality and create new value for our members.

We seek written feedback on our proposed approach. You can provide feedback and submit directly from the discussion paper.
The consultation period is open from 6 March 2016. All feedback must be submitted by COB Friday 28 April 2017.
Your feedback on the discussion paper is vital, and will help us refine and expand the roadmap before its release in late 2017.
On Tuesday 21 March, we will host a free webinar to provide an overview of the discussion paper and the proposed Carbon Positive Roadmap. Register to ensure your place. The recorded webinar will be available to online from the 24 March 2017.
If you would like us to present our approach and to give feedback in person, we can arrange a briefing. Please email us.
